The Prototyping Center (ZACH 140) produces all manner of prototype parts for the students. This includes several large commercial 3D printers, Metal 3D printing, laser cutting, vinyl cutting and PCB (Printed Circuit Boards).

To submit a request, you must be an active member of the Fischer EDC. To apply for a membership click here. Once approved as a member, your will be added to iLabs which is where all requests are housed. For some requests, we require that members take an additional course(s) before submitting a request to ensure they submit all required material information needed to complete the request.

To submit a request, you must be an active Fischer EDC member. Once a member you will be added to the Fischer EDC, Design Core, in iLabs. From there, you will navigate to the Service Request tab where you can see all the available services. Select a request type desired and enter in all required information before submitting. Most requests take up to 7-10 business days. If you have any issues or questions, please feel free to contact us at info-fedc@tamu.edu.
