Self-Service Request Form

Welcome to the Fischer Engineering Design Center self-service request page.

Here you may submit a request to manufacture via assisted or unassisted. This form is for departmental sponsored researchers that require to fabricate parts themselves.

Pre-requisites to filling out this form are:

  • You must be a member of the FEDC
  • You must have passed the red badge course and have a valid red badge (Graduates and above will need an appropriately authorized red badge, meaning access does not roll over from undergrad to graduates) 
  • You must fill out the form and all its required fields and await approval for your appointment

Current rates can be found on our Engineering Service Center page. 

Please allow 24-48 hours for your appointment approval. You will receive a confirmation email stating your request has been submitted and there after an appointment approval email.

Please have a printed version of this with you while working in the shop

Differential tuition pays for enhancements to the learning experience of undergraduate students in engineering. These enhancements include extra sections of overfull courses, new computers and equipment, and even extra lecturers to teach classes. Learn more about differential tuition here.
