Welcome to the FEDC (Fischer Engineering Design Center) Event Service Request page. 

3D Printing:

Only Low-Fidelity Gray PLA is allowed

STL Files are needed, not SolidWorks!

Max dimensions allowed: 11″x9″x13″

No resemblance of weaponry or parts thereof is allowed.

3D Printing FAQ

Laser Cutting:

Material must be provided by Aggies Invent staff.

DXF or DWG files required, use AutoCAD! 

Max dimensions allowed: 24″x36″

Specify in notes the lines to be: cut, engraved, or rastered.

  • Customer Information

  • Studio tables are marked with Letter + Number.
  • Part Upload

  • Discuss any special materials or fabrication processes and if you have any questions please contact the On-Site Technician.
  • Make sure to save the file as your name, the file number, and the date submitted. Zip files should be uploaded as "[Customer name]_[File Name]_[Part numner].zip". Please follow the example on how to name your zip file. E.g. ElizabethHenderson _Partname_0831
    Accepted file types: zip, stl, dxf, dwg, Max. file size: 10 MB.
  • Write any dimensions for the parts in the above file upload. Specify the units per part, or your part will be ignored.
  • This field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.

 

Differential tuition pays for enhancements to the learning experience of undergraduate students in engineering. These enhancements include extra sections of overfull courses, new computers and equipment, and even extra lecturers to teach classes. Learn more about differential tuition here.
