Team Account

You are here: Home / Services / Team Account

What is a “Team  Account”?

The Fischer EDC team account is to officially register yourself or your team the ability to reserve equipment or request services from the Fischer EDC. You are also giving consent for monies to be allocated to your team from your differential tuition to use as project funds for material, completing service requests, and equipment maintenance/supply. This means that you can put in a Service and/or a Space Reservation as a team. Once your Team Account Request is approved, you will receive a confirmation email and then a Team Account pin (only Team Accounts receive a pin). You will use the pin to verify your team’s equipment or service request(s).

Every Team is required to submit for a new “Team Account” (Spaces will not be held over from the prior year).

How much money is allocated each semester?

Registered teams/individuals are given an allotment each semester that is listed below with the given criteria. Funds are not able to roll over and will reset at the beginning of each new term. The funds listed are only for registered general Fischer EDC members.

Prototyping Allotment

  • $10 — Engineering Labs Teams (2 or more members)
  • $10– Competition Teams (non-curriculum)
  • $75 — Senior Design/ Capstone

Fabrication Allotment

  • 5 hours Engineering Lab Teams (2 or more members)
  • 10 hours Senior Design/Capstone
