Training Description

Learn to use corded and cordless power tools such as drills, drivers, jig saws and sanders.

  • You should wear safety glasses while using a power drill.
  • One can drill a part directly on any of the tables.
  • Long sleeve shirts are okay when drilling as long as they are rolled up.
  • An impact driver is the same as a drill.
  • A router should be firmly held to prevent injury.
  • You should only use a dremel when a class or lab is occurring.
  • Only a face shield is required when using a dremel.
  • A heat gun can cause severe burns at points of contact.
  • A _____ is used for applying shrink wrap.
  • When using a router, a _____ is also recommended.
